Box Score Spartanburg, SC – The Wofford women's tennis team earned their second win of this early season after defeating NC Central 7-0.
All six singles matches were won handily by the Terriers.
Jenna Vroman was the first to finish after she took care of her opponent, winning both sets 6-1. Next it was freshman
Georgia Fischer who won her first match of the season, winning 6-0 and 6-1. Sophomores
Liz Massie and
Ansley Hardeman completed the singles match sweep by winning their sets 6-2 and 6-4.
Wofford earned the doubles point after Massie and Vroman won their match 6-3, and
Georgia Fischer and
Brittney Wilbur won 6-3 as well.
Kay Kluska and
Lilie Steryous finished the day by winning their match 7-5.
"After winning the doubles point, I thought we did a great job of starting strong and maintaining the momentum throughout all of our singles matches", said Hall. "I was really proud of our energy and mindset throughout the entire match."
