SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College football team will begin fall practice on Tuesday, October 20. Overall, the back-to-back-to-back Southern Conference Champions will have fifteen scheduled practices this fall in preparation for a conference only schedule in the spring.
Last season the Terriers won the Southern Conference title for the third straight season, becoming the first Wofford football team to win three consecutive championships. They were 8-4 overall and reached the NCAA FCS Playoffs for the fourth straight season. The team is expected to return thirteen starters – four on offense, seven on defense and two specialists.
All weekday practices will be held at approximately 5:15 p.m., with Saturday morning practices at approximately 10:30 a.m. Times and dates are tentative and can change due to weather. Practices are currently closed to the public, as the Wofford campus is not open to visitors at this time.
