SPARTANBURG, S.C – The Wofford women's basketball team will play its annual
Play4Kay Pink Game this Thursday, February 13. The first-place Terriers host East Tennessee State University at 7:00 p.m. inside Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium.
Play4Kay games occur nationwide every February to raise awareness about all women's cancers. All fans can receive a $3 ticket by wearing pink to Thursday's game.
Play4Kay games and the Kay Yow Cancer Fund help unite players, coaches and fans alike to support a cause much greater than the game of basketball. If you are a current fighter or survivor of breast cancer and would like to be recognized at the game, please email
Colton Thayer at
thayerct@wofford.edu.
Fans coming to the game will receive pink ribbons, spirit shakers and cupcakes while supplies last. One lucky fan will also have the opportunity to win $2,000 at halftime by attempting the GSP International Airport Half-Court Heave for Cash.
Enjoy a "
Staycation with your Valentine", as
Crowne Plaza Greenville is giving away a free one-night stay with breakfast for two at the game.
Wofford students can enjoy a complimentary pregame BBQ dinner, provided by Ingles, and students will have the chance to enter-to-win Apple AirPods.
Tickets can be purchased at the Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium on game day. For the latest information on the
