Match Recap: Men's Tennis |

Terriers Take Care of Business at Home

Spartanburg, SC – Wofford's men's tennis team returned to Reeves Tennis Center and put on quite the show in front of their home crowd in a 6-0 win over King.

Diego Losada and Javi Casasolas made quick work of their competition as they won easily in doubles, 6-0. Julian Chousa returned to the court after being sidelined with an illness, but that didn't stop him and his partner Omar Williams from a 7-5 win in the #1 doubles. King was only able to play with five players, so they had to forfeit the third doubles match.

Callum Rendle showed off his abilities as he won in the #5 singles 6-0, 6-1. Omar Williams kept his hot streak going as he defeated his opponent in the same fashion from the #2 spot. Bryce Keim and Edu Villar won their matches with ease, which brought it down to Julian Chousa to complete the sweep. Chousa fell in the first set 6-2, and even though he was still battling an illness, that didn't stop him from competing and winning. He roared back with a 6-4 win in the second set, and won the third set on a 10-6 tiebreaker to complete the win for Wofford.

"It was good to be home and get a win", said coach Ray. "King has some very good players who tested us. I'm proud of our team."
