The Terriers are 1-6 on the season and 0-5 in Southern Conference play after a 24-22 road win at Elon, a 31-10 loss at home to #24 Kennesaw State, a 31-23 road loss to #22 VMI, a 27-21 loss on the road to #13 East Tennessee State, a 42-20 home loss to Furman, a 27-24 loss to Samford and a 45-14 loss at Mercer ... Wofford has lost nine-straight Southern Conference games for the first time in school history ... The last time the Terriers were 1-6 to begin a season was in 1987 in which they were 1-10 at the end of the year ... Western Carolina is 1-6 on the season and 1-3 in league play, with league losses to Samford, Chattanooga and Mercer and a 45-31 road win at The Citadel ... They are ranked 20th in the nation in total offense and 118th in total defense ... Here are the top notes of interest heading into the Western Carolina game:
    • The Terriers return 18 starters from the 2021 spring season, including six on offense, nine on defense and three specialists.
    • The team has seen 25 players earn first career starts this fall and only eight players have started ten or more career games.
    • Wofford is ranked 83rd in the nation in total offense and 103rd in total defense through the first seven games.
    • The rushing offense was ranked fifth overall at 232.8  yards per game in the spring. Wofford has been ranked in the top ten in rushing offense for 22 straight seasons but are 20th so far in 2021 at 196.7 yards per game.
    • The Terriers are being outscored in all four quarters. In the second half the Terriers are being outscored 102 to 49.
    • In the SoCon Preseason poll, the Terriers were selected to finish eighth, the lowest since 1999.

Weirick is 21-of-38 passing for 234 yards along with two rushing touchdowns, while Derrick is 33-of-65 with three passing touchdowns and 139 rushing yards ... Bryce Corriston has played in two games with 104 rushing yards and 16-of-31 passing for 165 yards ... Irvin Mulligan is the leading rusher with 613 yards on 89 carries and seven touchdowns ... Jamari Broussard has 173 rushing yards on 45 carries with a touchdown, with Nathan Walker and Ryan Ingram adding rushing touchdowns ... HOW OPPONENTS ARE DOING
The six opponents that Wofford has faced this season are a combined 34-16 on the season. Three of the teams were ranked on game day against the Terriers, as Kennesaw State (6-1) was #24, VMI (5-2) was #22 and East Tennessee State (7-1) was #13. It marked the first time Wofford has faced three straight ranked opponents since the 2017 season. Overall, Wofford has the fourth toughest schedule in the country as of the latest NCAA report on October 24.

COACH JOSH CONKLIN SHOW
Wofford Sports Properties, the multimedia rights partner for Wofford College Athletics, has announced the return of the Coach Josh Conklin Show. The show is part of an expanded selection of coaches shows that began in the spring. The shows, sponsored by R.J. Rockers, are hosted by the voice of the Terriers, Jim Noble. The Josh Conklin Show begins in September and will debut every Monday during the football season. The first episodes of the Jimmy Garrity (women's basketball) and Jay McAuley (men's basketball) will debut in late December. Fans can listen to the "Wofford Terriers Coaches Show" podcast in a variety of ways, including on the iTunes, Amazon, Google and Spotify podcast platforms, along with www.woffordterriers.com/podcast. GOAL LINE CLUB
Help carry the ball for the Terriers and sign up to be a 2021 Goal Line Club member. Pledge as little as $1 to contribute to an athletic endowed scholarship. There are no significant changes for parking from the 2019 fall season. A parking map can be found HERE.
General public parking: $10 per game on game day.
Overnight parking of RV's is not allowed on campus. Limited game day RV parking is available for $50.
