SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team hosted Georgia Southern University on Sunday morning at the Taylor Center Rifle Range. The Eagles had a 4,607 to 3,233 advantage over the Terriers.
Wofford, competing with only three shooters, was led by
Isabella Timmons with a total score of 1,115, which included a 552 in smallbore and a 563 in air rifle.
Meredith Bean set a personal best in smallbore at 553 and had a total score of 1,094.
Jessy Delgado had a 1,024 for the Terriers.
Ashley Judson of Georgia Southern was first in both smallbore and air rifle to win the match with an aggregate score of 1,168.
The Terriers will be on the road on Saturday, November 6, at VMI.
