SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford women's tennis team hosted the Terrier Invite on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Reeves Tennis Center. The event featured a compass draw with eight singles draws and four doubles draws over the weekend.
 
A total of nine teams competed in the tournament: Arkansas State, Emory, Furman, Gardner-Webb, Kennesaw State, Presbyterian College, Radford, UNC Asheville, and Wofford.
 
On Friday, all doubles matches were completed before rain ended the day's competition. On Saturday, one doubles round and two singles rounds were held, with a final doubles round and singles round on Sunday.
 
Highlights of the weekend included Breda Brennan winning three straight matches to win her draw, while Ansley Hardeman reached the finals of her draw and Georgia Fischer was third in her draw. All four doubles teams won at least one match. Eight of the nine individuals won at least one match as well during the tournament.
 
Wofford will take part in the Southern Conference Individuals tournament November 5-7 to complete the fall schedule.
