THE CHATTANOOGA GAME
Wofford will play the final home game of the season on Saturday afternoon at Gibbs Stadium against Chattanooga ... The game will mark senior day, along with military appreciation day ... The Terriers are 1-7 on the season and 0-6 in Southern Conference play after a 24-22 road win at Elon, a 31-10 loss at home to #24 Kennesaw State, a 31-23 road loss to #22 VMI, a 27-21 loss on the road to #13 East Tennessee State, a 42-20 home loss to Furman, a 27-24 loss to Samford, a 45-14 loss at Mercer and a 41-21 loss to Western Carolina... Wofford has lost ten-straight Southern Conference games for the first time in school history ... The last time the Terriers were 1-7 to begin a season was in 1987 in which they were 1-10 at the end of the year ... Chattanooga is 5-3 on the season and 4-1 in league play, with SoCon wins over Western Carolina, ETSU, Samford and Furman, along with a loss at VMI ... They are ranked 46th in the nation in total offense and 15th in total defense ... Wofford and Chattanooga have played 27 times, with the Terriers holding a 15-12 lead in the series that began in 1927 ... Chattanooga picked up a 24-13 home win during the 2020-21 spring season which ended a four-game win streak by the Terriers ... The Mocs are receiving votes in the Stats Perform and are ranked #25 in the FCS Coaches polls.

TERRIER TOP NOTES
Here are the top notes of interest heading into the Chattanooga game:
    • The Terriers have seen 27 players earn first career starts this fall and only eight players have started ten or more career games.
    • Wofford is ranked 85th in the nation in total offense and 104th in total defense through the first eight games.
    • The rushing offense was ranked fifth overall at 232.8  yards per game in the spring. Wofford has been ranked in the top ten in rushing offense for 22 straight seasons but are 16th so far in 2021 at 210.4 yards per game.
    • The Terriers are being outscored in all four quarters. In the second half the Terriers are being outscored 109 to 63.
    • In the SoCon Preseason poll, the Terriers were selected to finish eighth, the lowest since 1999.
    • Wofford has the fourth toughest schedule in the country as of the latest NCAA report on October 24.
    • Four players were recognized by the coaches on Preseason All-SoCon team. First team honors went to DL Micheal Mason and
      OL Zak Kurz. OL Al Hogan and RB Nathan Walker picked up second team honors.

ABOUT WOFFORD
At quarterback, Peyton Derrick has started five games, with Jimmy Weirick starting one and Bryce Corriston with two starts ... Weirick is 21-of-38 passing for 234 yards along with two rushing touchdowns, while Derrick is 33-of-65 with three passing touchdowns and 139 rushing yards ... Bryce Corriston has started twice with 129 rushing yards and 18-of-41 passing for 179 yards ... Irvin Mulligan is the leading rusher with 714 yards on 101 carries and eight touchdowns ... Jamari Broussard has 227 rushing yards on 54 carries with a touchdown, with Nathan Walker and Ryan Ingram adding rushing touchdowns ... The top receiver is Alec Holt with 16 catches for 290 yards and three touchdowns ... Jim Welsh has added 14 receptions for 123 yards and R.J. Khayo has 14 catches for 158 yards ... The offensive line has seen nine players start, with none starting the same position for all eight games ... They rank 10th in the nation in fewest sacks allowed with nine ... Linebackers Joe Beckett (58) is the team leader in tackles and he has 4.0 tackles for loss ... Micheal Mason has four tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks, while Chuck Smith has added two sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss ... Isaiah Wadsworth and Amir Annoor have the two interceptions for the team ... Walker Gliarmis handles the placekicking duties and is 6-of-10 on field goals with a long of 48 yards ... Atkins Roberts has kicked off 34 times for a 54.6 average and has a 38.8 average on his 41 punts.

SENIOR'S LAST LAP
The Chattanooga game marks the final regular season home contest for 25 Wofford seniors. The group includes seven fifth year seniors: Donavan Anderson, Joe Beckett, John Beckley, Brandon Brown, Chad Gardner, Zak Kurz and Jim Welsh. The fifth-year players won the 2017, 2018 and 2019 Southern Conference Championships, along with NCAA FCS Playoff appearances in 2017, 2018 and 2019. There are also 18 true seniors, who were part of the 2018 and 2019 SoCon Championship teams and two playoff appearances. They are: Elijah Ball, Tanner Barnes, Jamari Broussard, Cagan Campbell, Paxton Cottrell, Anthony Craig, Peyton Derrick, James Garnett, Quashon Greenlee, Al Hogan, T.J. Neal, Jaxen Rogers, Rett Russell, Colin Springer, Nathan Walker, Jimmy Weirick, Walker Gliarmis and Coltin Hallman.

HOW OPPONENTS ARE DOING
The eight opponents that Wofford has faced this season are a combined 39-25 on the season. Three of the teams were ranked on game day against the Terriers, as Kennesaw State (7-1) was #24, VMI (6-2) was #22 and East Tennessee State (7-1) was #13. It marked the first time Wofford has faced three straight ranked opponents since the 2017 season. Elon (4-4), Mercer (6-2) and Furman (4-4) also have records above .500 this season, with Samford (3-5) and Western Carolina (2-6) the only opponents below .500. Overall, Wofford has the fourth toughest schedule in the country as of the latest NCAA report on October 24.

COACH JOSH CONKLIN SHOW
Wofford Sports Properties, the multimedia rights partner for Wofford College Athletics, has announced the return of the Coach Josh Conklin Show. The show is part of an expanded selection of coaches shows that began in the spring. The shows, sponsored by R.J. Rockers, are hosted by the voice of the Terriers, Jim Noble. The Josh Conklin Show begins in September and will debut every Monday during the football season. The first episodes of the Jimmy Garrity (women's basketball) and Jay McAuley (men's basketball) will debut in late December. Fans can listen to the "Wofford Terriers Coaches Show" podcast in a variety of ways, including on the iTunes, Amazon, Google and Spotify podcast platforms, along with www.woffordterriers.com/podcast. There are no significant changes for parking from the 2019 fall season. A parking map can be found HERE.
General public parking: $10 per game on game day.
Overnight parking of RV's is not allowed on campus. Limited game day RV parking is available for $50.
