BELTON, S.C. – The Wofford women's tennis team concluded the 2021 fall season at the Southern Conference Fall Championship on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
 
The tournament, sanctioned by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association and hosted by the Belton Tennis Association, featured women's teams from Furman, Mercer, Chattanooga and Wofford. The women played a 16-compass draw in doubles and two equally split 16-compass draws (Palmetto and Standpipe) in singles. 
 
Highlights of the weekend included Lily Woods and Georgia Fischer finishing third in the open doubles draw and Lily Woods finishing third in the singles draw.
 
"The Southern Conference individual championships was a great tournament to end our fall season," said head coach Krissy Hall. "We made a lot of strides as a team this fall season and will continue to focus on working towards our goals this off season. We are already looking forward to starting the spring season."
 
Wofford will begin the spring season on January 14 against Kennesaw State.
