SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford's women's tennis team earned a clean 7-0 victory over North Greenville on Thursday afternoon.
A quick doubles point earned for the Terriers as all three matches finished almost simultaneously.
Georgia Fischer and
Ansley Hardeman earned a 6-0 win at the #3 spot, and
Brittney Wilbur and
Kay Kluska also won 6-0 on court #2. The #1 duo of
Emely Kahrs and
Liz Massie completed the doubles sweep with a 6-1 win.
The speedy wins continued as Kluska made light work of her #5 opponent with two 6-0 wins. Wilbur followed that up with 6-1, 6-0 wins, while Massie ended 6-1, 6-2. Hardeman came on for her second match of the season and cruised to victory with a pair of 6-0 set wins. Kahrs and Fischer finished off the sweep with wins as Wofford moves to 5-2 overall.
