SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford's women's tennis team were unable to complete their third win in a row as they fell to North Florida, 7-0.
Wofford struggled in doubles against a talented North Florida squad, losing all three matches. The biggest test was on court #3 as
Liz Massie and
Ansley Hardeman took their opponents to a 6-4 game that saw the Ospreys on top.
The Terriers pushed hard in singles play to find a point.
Jenna Vroman took her first set to a tiebreaker, falling 7-6, and lost the second 6-4.
Lilie Steryous also had a tiebreaker, but that didn't go her way as she lost 6-4, 7-6.
Emely Kahrs was the only Terrier to win a set, defeating her opponent in set 2, 6-2, before falling in the third set.
"North Florida is a really good team. We competed well and got better from today's match", said coach Hall. "I am proud of where we are as a team, and we will look to build on today's match moving forward."
