CLINTON, S.C. – The Wofford women's tennis team improved their record to 6-3 with a 5-2 victory over the Presbyterian Blue Hose.
The Terriers were stifled in doubles play as they lost all three matches. The closest of the three came on court #1 as
Jenna Vroman and
Lilie Steryous played their opponents to a tiebreaker, but fell in the end.
Wofford had better success in singles competition as
Georgia Fischer came away with a 6-2, 6-1 win. Vroman tied the match 2-2 after she won her match 7-6, 6-2, and from there on out Wofford never looked back. They went on to win the following three matches as Steryous, Massie, and Kahrs all picked up wins.
