RADFORD, VA. – Wofford's women's tennis team won their final non-conference match of the 2021 season with a 5-2 win over Radford, moving to 7-3 on the year.
The double pairing for Wofford looked great as
Brittney Wilbur and
Georgia Fischer won easily by a 6-1 final.
Jenna Vroman and
Lilie Steryous earned the point for the Terriers with a 6-4 win, while
Liz Massie and
Emely Kahrs were ahead 5-3, but went unfinished.
Wofford pushed just as hard in singles competition with Vroman locking up the first singles point with a 6-2, 6-3 win. Fischer took down her opponent at position #3, 7-6, 6-2, and Kahrs won her second of the day in three sets, 4-6, 7-5, 6-4.
Kay Kluska gave her team the fifth and final point with a 4-6, 7-6, 6-4 victory at position #6.
