SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Southern Conference announced its all-conference teams on Thursday afternoon, as Wofford matched a program-best four all-SoCon selections, highlighted by senior middle blocker Riley Coonan being named to the All-Southern Conference First Team.

Freshman Sarah Barham earns All-SoCon Second Team honors, while also joining fellow classmate setter Emily Hodsdon on the All-Freshman Team.

The four conference honors marks the most since Wofford tallied four all-conference selections in 2016 (Collen Reilly – First Team; Catie Cronister – Second Team/All-Freshman; Kara Shacklette – All-Freshman Team).

Coonan, a native of Jacksonville, Fla., corrals her third career all-conference honor after finishing third in the conference with a .312 hitting percentage, tallying a team-high 171 kills on 2.85 kills per set through 16 matches. Highlighted by two season-high 17-kill performances, Coonan reached double-digit kill totals in 11 matches, collecting SoCon Offensive Player of the Week honors on Feb. 23. Additionally, Coonan finished second on the squad with 53.0 blocks on the season, averaging 0.88 per set, as she has reached five of more blocks on five occasions this season.

Barham collects a pair of all-conference honors in her rookie campaign, marking the first first-year to be named to a second-team since Cronister in 2016, as she led the league with a .379 hitting percentage to couple with 150 kills on 2.50 per set. A middle blocker from Summerfield, N.C., Barham led the team with 57.0 blocks, averaging 0.95 per set, highlighted by a massive career-best 13-block performance set at Mercer on Mar. 7 – which also featured Barham's first career double-double with 12 kills offensively. The freshman has reached double-digit kill totals in eight matches, while hitting over .300 in 10 matches this year, including hitting a perfect 1.000 with 11 kills on 11 swings in a Feb. 28 win over The Citadel. Barham was one of just two freshmen to be tabbed to the All-SoCon Second Team.

Hodsdon, a native of Alpharetta, Ga., earns All-Freshman team honors after pacing the Terriers with 611 of Wofford's 687 total assists on the season, as the freshman finished second in the conference for assists with a 10.18 average per set. Hodsdon, a two-time SoCon Setter of the Week recipient, tallied six double-doubles throughout the regular season, marking the fifth-most by a first-year setter, dating back to 2007. Additionally, Hodsdon was effective on serve for the Terriers, landing a team-best 24 aces, while also finishing second on the team with 142 digs – good for 2.37 per set.
