Garrison Moore Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford College student-athlete Garrison Moore has been named to the 2021 Academic All-District® Football Team, selected by CoSIDA, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
 
Moore, a senior from Columbia, South Carolina, started two of the five games played this spring. He had five catches, including a 26-yard touchdown reception against The Citadel. For his career, Moore played in 41 games with three starts. He had 11 catches for 186 yards and two touchdowns.
 
A chemistry major with a 3.87 grade point average, Moore was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa this spring. He received his Bachelor of Science in May summa cum laude and will begin medical school this fall. He has been named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll and the SoCon All-Academic Team.
 
This marks the 21st straight season that at least one Wofford football player has earned CoSIDA All-District honors.
 
The CoSIDA Academic All-District team is selected by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Wofford is in the fourth district, which includes schools in Alabama, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. Nominees must have at least a 3.30 grade point average. First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected in early July.
