Wofford Alumni Team Accepted into TBT's 64-Team Field

WoCo Showtime, led by Fletcher Magee, Nathan Hoover to compete in TBT for $1M purse

BOSTON, Ma. – The Basketball Tournament (TBT) – the $1 million, winner-take-all summer basketball event broadcast live on ESPN networks – today revealed that WoCo Showtime, the Wofford alumni team, has been admitted into TBT's 64-team field. WoCo Showtime will be competing in the West Virginia Regional at Charleston Coliseum from July 17-21.
 
WoCo Showtime is organized by Stacy Presley and coached by former Wofford guard Bobby Perez (2014-18). Their current roster includes:

  • Lee Skinner (2011-15)
  • Spencer Collins (2012-16)
  • Eric Garcia (2013-17)
  • Fletcher Magee (2015-19)
  • Nate Hoover (2016-20)
  • Larry McKnight Jr. (2014-15)
  • Emmit Williams (LSU)
  • Keith Braxton (St. Francis)
  • Neil Rasnake (Western Carolina)
  • Dylan Carl (Purdue Fort Wayne)
  • Daniel Amigo (Denver)
The No. 15 seed WoCo Showtime will take on the No. 2 seed Best Virginia (West Virginia alumni) in the team's first-round game on Saturday, July 17 at 2 pm ET. If WoCo Showtime advances to the second round, they will face the winner of D2 and Bleed Virginia on Monday, July 19 at 9 pm ET. The third and final games of the West Virginia regional will take place on July 21. TV broadcast information will be announced soon.

Two teams will advance from each of TBT's four regionals to compete in Championship Weekend in Dayton, Ohio at UD Arena. Quarterfinals games will be played on July 31, and semifinals on August 1. The TBT Championship game will be August 3, where one player will hit a shot during the Elam Ending to win his team $1 million.
