CLEMSON, S.C. – The Wofford College men's tennis team visited Clemson University on Friday afternoon for a match that had been postponed earlier this season. The Tigers swept the Terriers 7-0 at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility indoor courts.
In doubles, the Tigers took the #1 and #2 positions both by a 6-4 score to earn the point. For the singles matches,
Mark Endler took Yizhou Liu to a 7-6 tiebreaker in the first set at the #2 position.
Robert Young at #4 singles and
Bryce Keim at #6 singles lost first sets by a 7-5 score, while
Callum Rendle lost a second set 7-5 at the #3 singles position.
Wofford will travel to Georgia State on January 23 for their next match, which will be indoors at Lifetime Fitness.
