DELAND, Fla. – The Wofford College men's tennis team was defeated 4-0 by Stetson on Saturday afternoon at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center. The Hatters claimed the doubles point and the first three singles matches to clinch the match.
In doubles, the Terriers won at the #1 position as the team of
Bryce Keim and
Callum Rendle won 6-3. The Hatters took the doubles point by winning at the #2 and #3 positions.
The Hatters (2-2) won matches at #3, #4 and #5 singles to secure the victory. The remaining three singles matches were unfinished however
Ashe Ray won his first set 6-4 at the #1 position.
Wofford (0-5) will visit UNC Wilmington for a match on Saturday, February 5, at 1:00 p.m.
