WINSTON-SALEM N.C. – The Wofford men's soccer team fell on the road 0-3 to No. 25 Wake Forest Tuesday night. The loss drops the Terriers' record to 4-7-2 (1-1-1 SoCon).

Wake Forest applied pressure early offensively, rattling off several shots in the opening 10 minutes. The Demon Deacons broke through in the 13th minute off a goal from Garrison Tubbs.

Kameron Gorst had a chance to even the match in the 24th minute, but his shot was saved by the Wake Forest keeper.

The Terriers had another opportunity to tie the contest in the 36th minute, but
Bryce Peacock's shot was also saved. Wake Forest kept its one goal lead into halftime.

Wake Forest doubled its lead three minutes into the second half off of an Oscar Sears goal.

Brandon Oddy had a final chance to get Wofford on the board in the 88th minute, but the Terriers couldn't get past Trace Alphin in goal.

The Demon Deacons added one final goal with 53 seconds remaining in the contest.
