Men’s Soccer Drops Home Contest to ETSU

SPARTANBURG S.C. – The Wofford men's soccer team fell to ETSU 0-3 Saturday night at Snyder Field. The loss drops the Terriers' record 3-6-2 (0-1-1 SoCon).
 
The Bucs' notched their first goal at the 26:31 mark of the game off a penalty kick goal by Kieran Richards. ETSU doubled its lead eight minutes later, giving the Bucs' a 2-0 advantage which held at the half.
 
ETSU out-shot the Terriers 9-2 in the opening half, with Cameron Victor making two saves in the period.
 
Richards extended the ETSU lead with his second goal of the game at the 67-minute mark, putting the Buccaneers up 3-0.
 
Diego Reyes had an opportunity to cut into the lead at the 81st minute, but his shot was saved in the right corner of the goal.
 
Jackson Wrobel had a final chance to put Wofford on the board with a free kick with 45 seconds remaining, put his shot fell right into the arms of the ETSU keeper.
