The Chanticleers were led by Henry Abraham with 14 points and Jomaru Brown with 13 points.

"That was a great game against a really well coached team and good players," said interim head coach Dwight Perry. "The biggest thing was it was exciting for our guys to get back out there and play basketball. It hasn't been an easy last couple of days, but it was a lot of fun being out there tonight. Things were not going our way in the first half and we had some struggles defensively that allowed them to get some easy scores. It is a credit to all of our guys – Jackson Paveletzke stepped up, B.J. Mack stepped up, it was a heck of a job by Kyler Filewich and other guys provided us a spark. It was a great team win and I am proud of our guys."

The Chanticleers jumped out to a 7-0 lead before a jumper by Corey Tripp got the Terriers on the board. A three-pointer by Jackson Paveletzke made it a 12-7 game in favor of Coastal Carolina and with 12:00 left in the opening half the lead was 16-9. Kyler Filewich had a pair of baskets and a long two by Carson McCorkle cut the advantage to 18-15 at the midpoint of the half. B.J, Mack made it a one possession game at 32-30 and then tied it at 32 with two free throws with 30 seconds remaining. The Wofford defense held and at the break the game was tied.
