STATESBORO, Ga. – The Wofford College rifle team visited Georgia Southern on Saturday morning for a match at the Shooting Sports Education Center. The Eagles won by a 4,601 to 4,298 margin in the dual match.
Wofford was led by
Isabella Timmons with a total score of 1,106, which included a 546 in smallbore and a 560 in air rifle to finish fifth overall.
Meredith Bean had a score of 1,079,
Ansely-Brooke Springer had a 1,058 and
Jessy Delgado fired a 1,055 for the Terriers.
Erin Ballard of Georgia Southern was the top individual with an 1,159 total score.
The Terriers continue the road trip on Sunday with a visit to the University of North Georgia.
