SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Senior attacker
Elisabeth Ralph tallied a four-goal performance to become the first Terrier to surpass 100 career points in Wofford women's lacrosse program history on Saturday afternoon, as the Terriers fell to defending Big South champions High Point (2-8, 1-1 Big South), 24-11, at Gibbs Stadium. Wofford held its ground with just a two-goal deficit after the first quarter, though, a second-quarter outburst from the Panthers set the tone for the duration of the match to drop the Terriers to 2-7 overall and 0-2 in the Big South.

Ralph moves to 102 points for her career as the program's all-time leader, holding a program-best goal tally of 89 goals in addition to 13 assists.
Â
The Hillsdale, N.J., native paced Wofford in connecting for four goals on six shots-on-goal to move to a team-high 16 goals on the season.

Senior
Shannon Wulff matched a career-best four assists, assisting two of Ralph's scores, in addition to scooping a ground ball, while junior
Emma Gentile recorded two points on a free-position goal and assist to pair with a team-high four draw controls and two caused turnovers.

Wulff's team-high 15 assists on the year rank her third amongst the Big South in total assists and assists per game (1.67/g).

Shadan Bankston,
Carley Irvin,
Leah Hurley,
Ally Furnari,
Brenna Duley and
Emma Krasinski round out Wofford's remaining goal scorers on the afternoon, while
Olivia Abé dished an assist. Hurley added three draw controls and Krasinski talled two draw controls, two ground balls and a caused turnover. Freshman
Carley Irvin recorded three draw controls and a ground ball.

Defensively,
Emma Seif and
Kirsten Flannigan paced the Terriers with three ground balls each, in addition to a Seif caused turnover, as sophomore
Addison Witkowski recorded two ground balls and a draw control.
Abbi Pagano added a ground ball.

Freshman
Ella Smithers received the loss with six saves on the day, as
Aislinn Washburn also appeared in the match with three saves.

The Panthers were dominant in the draw circle, finishing with a 24-13 advantage, led by High Point's Abby Hormes with 13 draw controls and 10 points on seven goals and three assists.

High Point also held a 38-23 edge in shots for the match, though, Wofford edged the Panthers in total ground balls, 17-16.

Wofford (2-7, 0-2 Big South) is back in action at Gibb Stadium on Wednesday, April 6, hosting Presbyterian in Spartanburg, S.C., for a 4 p.m. Big South matchup.
