RALEIGH N.C. – The Wofford men's soccer team fell on the road to NC State, 4-0, at Dail Soccer Field. The Terriers fall to 0-2 to start the 2022 campaign.

The Wolfpack opened the scoring at the 17:32 minute mark when Conor Kelly scored the first of his three goals of the match.

Wofford had chances on offense at the 25-minute mark with the Wolfpack goalkeeper out of position, but saw back-to-back shots blocked by NC State defenders.

NC State struck for its second goal ten minutes later off a shot by Junior Nare. Wofford trailed at the half 0-2.

The opening part of the second half was relatively quiet for both sides. Wofford saw multiple opportunities on corner kicks, with
Jackson Wrobel's shot hitting the top left corner of the crossbar, but the Terriers were unable to break past the Wolfpack defense.

Kelly struck two more times for NC State in the closing eight minutes of the match.
