Cullowhee, N.C.- The 2023 Wofford women's soccer campaign came to a close against the top seeded Western Carolina Catamounts in Cullowhee, North Carolina on Friday, October 27, dropping the contest 5-0.
Wofford's defense excelled in the opening 27 minutes of the of the match, weathering wave after wave of Catamount offense. It wasn't until the 27:08 mark that Western Carolina scored and would find the back of the net thrice more to lead 4-0 at the half. A goal in the second half concluded scoring for Western Carolina and secured the 5-0 win.

Caroline Doss saved six shots in the second half after subbing in for sophomore
Rylee Godbold at the intermission. Doss ends her career with 172 saves and her name littered throughout the Wofford record book. Fellow senior Meara
