SPARTANBURG, S.C. – On Sunday morning, the Wofford College rifle team hosted the University of North Georgia in the home opener at the Taylor Center Rifle Range. North Georgia came away with a 4,630 to 4,402 win over the Terriers.
Wofford was led by
Ansely-Brooke Springer with an 1,128 aggregate score to take fourth place overall. She had a 555 in small bore and a career-best 573 in air rifle.
Garett Dall was sixth overall with an 1,105.
Charlie Yang had career-bests in both small bore (540) and air rifle (556) for a career-best aggregate of 1,096.
Jessy Delgado had a1,073 and
Chanson Bullard had a 526 in air rifle only.
Elysa Walter of North Georgia was first in both small bore and air rifle to take the overall top spot with an aggregate score of 1,184.
The Terriers will host UAB on Saturday, October 14.
