Women’s Tennis Signs Pair of Newcomers

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford College women's tennis head coach Krissy Hall has announced that Erica Brennan and Ana Maria Rincon have committed to join the team in the fall of 2026.   
"We are thrilled to welcome Ana Maria and Erica to the Terrier Family," said head coach Krissy Hall. "Both young women bring exceptional talent, character, and a strong commitment to excellence that align perfectly with the values of our program.  We can't wait to see the positive impact they will make on the court, in the classroom, and within the Wofford community. 
 
Erica Brennan is from Dublin, Ireland. She has played in numerous ITF tournaments and reached the quarterfinals of the J100 Vic in Spain this past September. In addition, she was a J60 doubles finalist in Belfast and a J35 doubles finalist in Seville to earn her first WTA ranking. She is currently ranked second in Ireland in women's doubles and fifth in ITF Juniors in Ireland.
 
Ana Maria Rincon is a native of Roanoke, Virginia. A four-star recruit on tennisrecruiting.net, she was ranked in the top 100 recruits nationally in 2023 and 2024. While playing at Patrick Henry High School, she has won the VHSL state singles championship twice and won the VHSL doubles state championship twice, including the 2025 title with her sister. She was named all-state three times and was the VHSL Player of the Year in 2024. During the summer of 2025, she played in France and had a 15-3 record in tournaments.
 
The eligibility of all student-athletes is contingent upon admission to Wofford College and compliance with all NCAA rules, including registration with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
