RADFORD, Va.– After a home win on Friday afternoon, the Wofford women's tennis team picked up a 6-1 road win over Radford on Saturday at the Radford Tennis Complex. The Terriers swept all three doubles matches and then won five of the six singles matches for the win.
 
In doubles, Breda Brennan and Lily Woods had a 6-1 win at the #1 position. After Grace Agster and Catherine Blouin added a 6-0 win at the #2 position, Chloe Elliott and Brianna Wilbur completed the doubles sweep with a 6-2 win at the #3 position.
 
Grace Agster started the singles matches with a 6-0, 6-1 win at the #5 position. Catherine Blouin then went 6-2, 6-2 for a win at #4 singles and Lily Woods earned a 6-2, 6-2 win at #3 singles to clinch the overall match for the Terriers. After the Highlanders won at #2 singles, Chloe Elliott went 6-2, 6-4 to claim that #6 singles position. In the only match to go three sets, Breda Brennan won the first set 7-5 at #1 singles before dropping the second set 2-6. In the third set tiebreaker, Brennan won 10-6.
 
"The team showed great resilience in today's match," said head coach Krissy Hall. "We battled through extremely cold and windy conditions, and I could not be more proud of our mentality throughout the match."
 
The Terriers (9-1) will remain on the road for a match on Wednesday afternoon at UNC Asheville. Radford is 2-5 on the season.
