SPARTANBURG, S.C. – In a midweek matchup against Presbyterian, the Wofford softball team had an 4-0 win on Tuesday afternoon at Hope Field. The Terriers (24-15, 5-4 SoCon) scored two runs in the first inning and added two runs in the fourth inning to defeat the Blue Hose (19-20, 3-6 Big South).

In the first inning, Presbyterian got the first batter on with a hit and then was retired in order. While Greenwood retired the next 19 batters, the Terriers responded in the bottom of the first. Kalli Petty drove in a run on a single and then with the bases loaded Abbi Campbell drew a walk to put Wofford up 2-0 after the first.

In the fourth inning, Kaytlin Greenwood hit a double scoring Abbi Campbell to extend Wofford's led to 3-0. Later in the inning, Greenwood stole third and was driven in by Hope Ingle in a groundout to put it 4-0.
