CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Wofford women's tennis team competed on Friday and Saturday at the CSU Invitational hosted by Charleston Southern University. In addition to Wofford and Charleston Southern, Coastal Carolina and S.C. State were in action at the Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center.  
 
Overall, Wofford had eight singles wins and six doubles victories during the weekend. Quinn Bernthal and Ella Suk each had two singles wins to lead the Terriers.
 
"I was really impressed with our competitiveness," said head coach Krissy Hall. "We saw growth from last weekend. I am excited to get back to work these next couple of weeks before our upcoming home tournament."
 
On Friday, Wofford played doubles against Coastal Carolina and singles against S.C. State and Charleston Southern. Saturday's matches were in doubles against S.C. State and Charleston Southern, along with singles against Coastal Carolina.
 
Wofford will host the Big Southern Shootout on Oct. 3-5 at the Reeves Tennis Center.
