CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wofford's
Olivia Graebner and
Barrett Rowe were named to the 2026 Big South Women's Lacrosse Preseason All-Conference team, with Rowe earning Preseason Defensive Player of the Year honors, as announced by the league office on Tuesday. In addition, Wofford was picked fourth out of nine teams in the preseason poll by the league's coaches.
Rowe, a senior defense from Richmond, Virginia, started all 19 games last season. She was second on the team in ground balls with 60 and was also second in caused turnovers with 33. Rowe was tabbed the second-best defender in the conference last year, receiving 12 points and three first-place votes, earning her a spot on the 2025 All-Big South First Team.
Graebner, a redshirt sophomore defense from Yardley, Pennsylvania, started all 19 games for the Terriers last season. She led the team in caused turnovers with 35. She provided eight assists and 27 goals from the backline, tallying the fourth most goals and points on the team. She was named to the 2025 All-Big South Second Team.
The Terriers return nine starters and 25 letterwinners from the 2025 team and welcome nine newcomers. They posted a 9-10 overall record with a 5-3 mark in conference play to finish fourth last season.
Wofford will open the season on Saturday, February 7, at 5 p.m. at Davidson.
