In the tiebreaker, the Terriers came away with an 8-6 win that clinched the doubles point. The #2 position was also tied at 6-6 and Hugo Rask and Julian Brager-Carlsen were able to complete the doubles sweeps with a 9-7 win in the tiebreaker.

In singles, Jack Burdell had a 6-3, 6-2 win at the #6 position. The Spartans won the #4 position when Julian Brager-Carlsen was forced to retire due to injury and they went on to win at the #3 position and the #1 position in straight sets for a 3-2 overall lead.

At the #5 position, Valdemar Dubin won the first set 7-6 in a 7-4 tiebreaker and then won the second set 6-2. With the overall match tied at 3-3, it would be decided at the #2 position. Jack Deveney lost the first set 6-3 but rallied for a 6-3 win in the second set. In the third set, the Spartans were leading 4-1 when a light rain moved into the area to cause a 40-minute delay. When play resumed, the Spartans took a 5-3 lead and held serve for the 6-3 win that clinched the overall match.
