SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College women's tennis team had three student-athletes named to the 2026 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
The three receiving the honors for Wofford were
Quinn Bernthal,
Chloe Elliott, and
Ella Suk.
Bernthal, a sophomore from Boulder, Colorado, played in 19 singles matches with an 11-8 record and was 14-4 in doubles. She was named to the All-Southern Conference first team in doubles. A member of the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll, she was also named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
Elliott, a senior from Oxford, England, played in 15 singles matches and was 7-8 in doubles matches. In 2025, she was named All-Southern Conference second team in singles. A sociology and anthropology major, she is an ITA Scholar-Athlete and a SoCon Academic Honor Roll member.
Suk, a junior from Tucker, Georgia, played in all 20 matches this season. She was 11-6 in singles and was 9-9 in doubles. She is majoring in computer science.
Academic All-District nominees must have at least a 3.30 grade point average. All honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected at the end of May.
