CHATTANOOGA, TENN. – The Wofford College softball team lost 7-0 to the No. 5 seeded Chattanooga Mocs on Saturday afternoon at Frost Stadium. The loss ends the season for the Terriers, as the team closes the year with a 35-19 record and a 10-11 mark in conference play.

Abby Greenwood got the start, pitching the first three innings in what was her seventh loss of the season.
Natalya Salo closed the game with four innings pitched.

Chattanooga got on the board first, taking a 3-0 lead in the top of the second inning. In the bottom half of the frame, Wofford had runners on first and second but could not convert on the opportunity. The Mocs added two more in the fourth, handing Wofford a 5-0 deficit. Chattanooga scored the final two runs of the game in the fifth inning, as the Terriers would lose the game 7-0.

Wofford ends the season with a 35-19 record and a 10-11 mark in conference play. The team earned the No. 4 seed in the conference tournament. Wofford started the season 14-1 and would stretch that out to a 21-4 record. The Terriers set program records in batting average, runs scored, hits, doubles, triples, home runs, RBI, and total bases.
