HIGH SCHOOL: As a senior at the William Penn Charter School, batted .433 to help the team win a school-record 25 games ... During his junior season batted .462 with 36 hits and 19 RBIs, along with 20 stolen bases in 23 games ... A four-time all-league honoree, including two first team nods ... Also earned All-City honorable mention and played in the Carpenters Cup All-Star game multiple times ... Played on the varsity team as an eighth grader ... Also played basketball, earning the coaches award in 2009 ...
