2019: Played in 25 games with six starts at catcher ... Batted .294 with ten hits, nine runs scored and 11 RBIs ... Against Bryant (3/13) had a solo home run in the eighth inning as he had two hits and four RBIs in the game ... Against Lafayette (3/16) had two hits, including a double, and drove in three runs ... Scored twice against Mercer (3/30) ... Had a double and scored twice against VMI (4/12) ... During the summer played for the Oneonta Outlaws in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League.

HIGH SCHOOL:  A four-year letterman at Woodward Academy ... During his senior season, posted a .453 batting averaged with 28 RBIs, 34 hits and four home runs ... Named first team All-State, first team All-Region and team MVP as the squad won the region championship and reached the second round fo the state playoffs ... As a junior, team was 24-7 and won a region championship ... Named first team All-Region with 29 hits, 24 RBIs and eight home runs ... In 2016, he was the Woodward Rookie of the Year and earned All-Region honorable mention ... Also a member of the clay target team that finished second in the state.

PERSONAL: Born July 14, 1999 ... Son of Pat and Sheila Cornelius ... Planning to major in environmental studies ... Father, Pat, played baseball at Auburn ... Uncle, Reid, played for the Expos, Mets and Marlins and is currently the pitching coach for the Atlanta Braves AAA team.
