Biography

Part of the 2022-23 Regular Season Southern Conference Championship squad, the first-ever SoCon title for any Wofford women’s team sport.

CAREER: Played 109 games with 62 starts… Scored 763 points with a 7.0 points per game average… Shot 34.3 percent overall and 31.2 percent from three… Fourth all-time at Wofford with 163 made threes… Added 173 steals and 113 assists with 366 rebounds… Named to the SoCon All-Defensive Team for 2023-24 and garnered Third-Team All-SoCon that same season… Named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll in 2021-22.

2023-24: Started all 30 games and averaged 31.2 minutes per game… Third in Southern Conference with 1.83 steals per game… Averaged 9.4 points per game with 281 total points… Added 55 steals, 143 rebounds and 38 assists… Named to the Southern Conference All-Defensive Team and tabbed Third-Team All-Southern Conference by the media… Opened season with 12 points on four three at Wake Forest (11/6) … Against UNCW (11/11), recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds… Tallied 11 points and six rebounds at Davidson (11/21) … Swiped five steals in Wofford’s historic win at Virginia (12/16) … Hit five threes for 15 points at Georgia (12/30) … At UNCG (1/11), scored 12 points with six steals… Posted five made threes at Western Carolina (1/13) for 17 points with three swipes… Scored 11 points with five assists and five rebounds against Western Carolina (2/8) … Added 12 points with eight rebounds and four assists next time out against UNCG (2/10) … Tallied 15 points at Mercer (2/24) … In the opening round of the SoCon Tournament against Samford (3/7), scored 16 points with four steals and five boards.

2022-23: Started all 31 games played… Led team with 66 steals (2.1 per game), ranking second in the Southern Conference… Scored 214 points (6.9 per game) with 123 rebounds (4.0 per game) and 49 assists… Shot 35.2 percent overall and 34.1 percent from three… Led team in scoring twice, assists three times and rebounds twice… Scored in double-digits nine times… Tallied 14 points at Clemson (11/10) with four threes… Followed with 12 points and seven boards against Coastal Carolina (11/16) … Scored 12 points in hometown at UNC Asheville (12/19) … Totaled 12 more points against Furman (1/5) while dishing career-high seven assists… Scored 13 points against ETSU (1/21) to spark run of three-straight games in double figures, following with 13 at Mercer (1/26) and 12 at Samford (1/28) … Recorded 12 more points at UNCG (2/9) with six boards… Scored season-high 17 points in SoCon Tournament against UNCG (3/3), playing all 40 minutes in the semifinals in her hometown with five boards and career-high seven steals… In the WNIT at Florida (3/16), scored nine points.

2021-22: Played in all 31 games with one start… Scored 188 points (6.1 ppg) with 73 rebounds, 18 assists and 33 steals… Second on team in steals… Led team in scoring four times… Posted 16 points at NC State (11/12) in the Preseason WNIT to tie for the team lead… Pulled down six rebounds with six points at App State (12/12) … Recorded first-career double-double against Erskine (1/1) with 17 points and 12 rebounds, with career-high marks in rebounds, made threes (five) and assists (four)… Followed with 12 points against Western Carolina (1/6), all from three-point range… Made first-career start at Furman (1/13) with 14 points in a career-high 38 minutes to help lift Wofford to its first-ever road win over the Paladins… Tallied 12 points, all from three-point range, against Chattanooga (1/27) … Scored a career-high 19 points against ETSU (1/29) while tying her career-best marks with six field goals and five three-pointers… Recorded eight points against Furman (2/12) … In the Southern Conference Tournament against Furman (3/4), scored seven points with two assists.

2020-21: Played in 17 games ... Scored 80 points (4.7 ppg) and had 27 rebounds (1.6 rpg), along with 19 steals ... Against Erskine (1/2) scored 12 points in her season debut with eight rebounds ... Against Samford (2/13) was 4-of-6 from the floor, including 3-of-4 from behind the arc, for 11 points ... At Furman (2/25) was 3-of-4 from three and 4-of-5 overall for 11 points ... In the Southern Conference Tournament had eight points each against UNC Greensboro (3/4) and ETSU (3/5), along with six points against Mercer (3/7) in the championship game.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Schultz started her varsity career when she was in 7th grade ... Would go on to win conference and state titles in four straight seasons (2014-2018) ... As a freshman was voted to the All-Conference Team ... During her sophomore season she was named Conference Player of the Year and selected to the All-State Team ... After sitting out her junior year with an injury, as a senior she led the team in points (22.7 ppg), rebounds (6.1 rpg), assists (3.5 apg), and steals (4.2 spg) ... During the season she would go on to score 1,000 points ... Invited to play in the North Carolina East/West All-Star Game.

PERSONAL: Birthday is November 30... Daughter of Jeffery and Kathy Schultz ... Majoring in finance.
