Had a solid freshman season, rushing for 4.7 yards per carry . . . Has good speed and shifty moves . . . 2006: Carried seven times for 33 yards as a freshman as he earned his first varsity letter . . . Scored his first collegiate touchdown on a seven-yard run against Chattanooga (Nov. 11) . . . Also returned three kickoffs for a 16.3 average . . . High School: Played at Fort Meade High before spending the 2005 season at Worcester Academy . . . Named first team all-state at linebacker in 2004 by the Florida Sports Writers Association . . . Helped lead Fort Meade HS to the 2004 Florida Class 1A State Championship . . . Also competed in the state weightlifting championships . . . Led the Miners to their fourth state title game in five seasons . . . Caught a 64-yard touchdown pass in the 2004 state championship game against Jacksonville Trinity Christian . . . Had a 60-yard touchdown run in the semifinal win over Glades Day School, a game in which he also stripped a kick returner of the ball and returned it 30 yards for a score and returned a fumble 32 yards for a touchdown . . . Scored on a 36-yard run in the quarterfinal win over Evangel . . . Rushed for 80 yards in 13 carries in a 42-6 win over Frostproof . . . Had five carries for 62 yards and one score in a win over Lakeland Santa Fe Catholic . . . Collected 107 yards rushing on only one half in a win over Mulberry . . .
