Stewart Mungo ‘74, along with his brother Steven Mungo ’81, have been incredible contributors to both the athletics program, as well as the College as a whole. The Mungo Companies, a successful group of companies involved in real estate development, have been incredibly successful under the direction of Stewart and Steven. The Mungo Companies also support The V Foundation in Raleigh, Habitat for Humanity, The National Kidney Foundation, the National Park Service, EdVenture Children’s Museum, Carolina Children’s Home, Keep America Beautiful, Harvest Hope Food Bank, and many, many other organizations. Through their joint success, the Mungo brothers have also been able to make a number of extraordinarily generous contributions to Wofford and Wofford athletics.
Stewart and Steven Mungo have established an endowed athletic scholarship through a gift of real estate. The gift has also been matched by a gift from the estate of
Mrs. Homozel Mickel Daniels.
