David L. Neugent
David L. Neugent is a native of Kernersville, NC. He earned a bachelors degree in economics from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC where he also earned four athletic letters as a baseball pitcher. He joined Merrill Lynch in 2001 after a 25-year career in banking where he worked extensively in private banking with wealthy and affluent clients. His primary focus is on client wealth accumulation and preservation as well as retirement planning. Clients include corporate executives with extensive financial needs and professional athletes who are planning for retirement.
Specialties also include financing residential and commercial real estate, as well as personal aircraft.
In 2004, he earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner®, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.
In the community, he is past-president of the United Methodist Men at his church and served on the board of the Kernersville YMCA for five years. He has served on the board of the Wofford Terrier Club and on student interview panels for the Wofford Scholars program. He holds a certification as a Specialist in Sports Conditioning and trains high school athletes. He lives in Kernersville, NC with his wife and two sons, Lee and Charlie.
