Noting the Ohio game...
Wofford has never faced Ohio U. in any major sport so Saturday night's matchup will make history.  This also marks the first time the Terriers have played a school from the Mid-American Conference in football ever.  The Bobcats finished last season 9-5 record playing in the MAC Championship game and the Little Ceasars Pizza Bowl.  There are 6 Terriers from the state of Ohio and one Bobcat from South Carolina.  One rather random, but noteworthy, connection between the schools is Pete Yanity, the former host of "Wofford Football Illustrated" and current WSPA-TV sports director is an Ohio U. alum.

Making the road trip?  Listen to the Ohio game broadcast on 105.5 FM in Athens.  If you haven't already purchased your game tickets, they are no longer available through the Wofford Ticket Office. Call the Ohio Ticket Office at (800) 575- CATS (2287) to order.  If you haven't gotten a hotel room yet, the options in Athens are very limited on home OU game weekends. Check www.athensohio.com for information on the area.  Other cities nearby with hotels include Logan, OH and Parkersburg, WV.
