ENTERTAINMENT
Wofford and The Citadel meet in the "Beacon Iced Tea Bowl VIII" on Homecoming 2012 at Gibbs Stadium. Every time these schools meet in Spartanburg, the game is dubbed the "Iced Tea Bowl" in recognition of the split allegiance ownership of the legendary Beacon Drive-In. With it being Homecoming, many events are planned through the Wofford Alumni Office (wofford.edu, click Alumni) and the Broome High School Marching Band from Spartanburg District 3 will perform as well. For fans looking to adopt a new pet - particularly a boston terrier - the Boston Terrier Rescue of South Carolina will have several dogs looking for a new loving home at their display located on the Plaza just inside Gate 3.
