Named honorable mention Perfect Game Southeast All-Region ... As a junior, the team was 28-4 overall and won a state title ... He was 10-1 overall with a 1.62 ERA during his junior season on the mound with 82 strikeouts in 64.2 innings and had a .342 batting average ... Also played football for four seasons at strong safety.
