2022: Made 14 appearances, 13 in relief with one start… Had a 5.91 ERA in 21.1 innings with 16 strikeouts and an 0-1 record… Made season debut against George Mason (2/20) with one strikeout in 2.0 innings… Tossed a scoreless inning against Lafayette (3/11) with a punchout… At Belmont (3/18), struck out one in 2.0 scoreless frames… Against UNCG (4/10), tossed 1.1 scoreless innings with a strikeout… Started at Clemson (4/27), pitching 1.2 innings… Pitched 1.2 innings at Samford (4/30) and did not allow an earned run, striking out two… Pitched a scoreless inning at UNC Asheville (5/4) and then again against Presbyterian (5/11) … In the first game of the SoCon Championship against UNCG (5/29), pitched 4.0 scoreless innings with four punchouts and only one hit allowed.

2021: Made 12 relief appearances ... Led the team with a 1.23 ERA and had a 5-0 record with three saves ...  Had 22 strikeouts in 22.0 innings ... At Gardner-Webb (2/20) had three strikeouts in 1.2 innings to earn the win ... Against Xavier (2/27) had two strikeouts in an inning to record a save ... At UNC Asheville (3/2) went 3.0 innings with two strikeouts for the win ... Against Toledo (3/13) had three strikeouts in 2.1 innings to earn a save ... At The Citadel (3/19) allowed one hit in the ninth inning to pick up the save ... At VMI (4/24) did not allow a hit in 2.1 innings with two strikeouts to secure the win ... Against Samford (5/1) had five strikeouts in 2.2 innings without allowing an earned run for the win ... Against The Citadel (5/9) did not allow a run in the eighth inning to get the win ... In the Southern Conference Tournament (5/29) against Western Carolina (5/29) did not allow a run in 2.2 innings with a pair of strikeouts ... Named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll. 

2020: Against Binghamton (2/14) had two strikeouts in an inning of relief ... Played summer ball in the Arizona Collegiate League. 

2019: Missed the season due to injury. 

2018: Played in 14 games with 12 starts on the season ... Posted a 6.94 ERA with 26 strikeouts in 48.0 innings with a 1-3 record ... First appearance was three innings against Kentucky (2/16) in which he did not allow a run and had three strikeouts ... Started against UNC Asheville (2/21) and had two strikeouts in 2.2 innings ... At Georgia (2/27) started and had four strikeouts in 5.0 innings ... Against Winthrop (3/27) had four strikeouts in five innings and did not allow a run to earn the win ... Started against Presbyterian (5/2) and had three strikeouts in 3.1 innings ... Had two strikeouts in a start against ETSU (5/19) ... In the Southern Conference Tournament, started against UNCG (5/25) and did not allow an earned run in 2.2 innings.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year letterman at Sunrise Mountain High School for coach Eric Gardner ... As a senior, was 5-0 with 19 appearances and a 1.91 ERA ... Had 62 strikeouts in 62.1 innings as he was named first team All-Region, first team All-Section, and first team Arizona BCA All-State ... Team was 25-6 overall and won district and region championships with a fourth place finish in the state ... He was the starting pitcher in the Arizona BCA Senior All-Star Game ... During his junior season, team reached the state quarterfinals and he earned All-District honors.  

PERSONAL: Born September 28, 1998 ... Son of Brad and Jill Schwaner ... A finance major.
