Frederic Reynolds joined the Wofford staff as director of player development in July of 2023 and was elevated to an assistant coach in July of 2024. Reynolds enters his third season on staff in 2026. He spent the 2023 season as a graduate student manager at Ole Miss.
In 2025, Wofford was 33-27 for a seventh-straight 30-win season alongside a SoCon record of 8-13. The season featured a pair of ranked wins, a 12-5 triumph over No. 23 Kentucky and a 14-3 run-rule win in eight innings at No. 17 Troy. This marked the first time in program history that Wofford bested two different ranked foes in the same season. The Terriers led the SoCon in triples (17) and hit-by-pitch (113), ranking 28th and 22nd in the nation, respectively. The hit batsmen set a new program record. Wofford remained a strong small ball team, ranking second in the conference in both sacrifice bunts (45) and stolen bases (158). The steals were seventh nationally as the bunts ranked 12th. In the SoCon year-end balloting, a trio of Terriers were honored, highlighted by Carter Rasmussen being named Second-Team All-SoCon. Cullen Condon and Tanner Hardin were both honored on the SoCon All-Freshman Team.
In his first year on staff, Reynolds aided in the Terriers claiming the 2024 SoCon Tournament championship with a 42-20 record overall and 12-8 SoCon mark. The 42 wins tie the program record and mark a third-straight 40-win campaign. Wofford was selected to the Chapel Hill Regional as the No. 3 seed and secured its first-ever NCAA Tournament win with a 5-2 triumph over LIU. At season’s end, a trio of Terriers (Marshall Toole, Dixon Black and Zac Cowan) were honored with All-SoCon First-Team recognition. Daniel Jackson earned SoCon Freshman of the Year honors, and he was joined on the SoCon All-Freshman Team by Tyler Bak, Kenny Michaels and Camden Wicker.
The Rebels were 25-29 overall in 2023 as he assisted with daily practices and operations. He also assisted the director of analytics with advance scouting of opponents. He received a masters of sports analytics from Ole Miss in 2023 with a concentration in sports business.
