Member of the 2024 Southern Conference Tournament championship team that earned the program’s first-ever NCAA Tournament win in the Chapel Hill Regional.

CAREER: Made 61 appearances with 22 starts… Pitched 111.0 innings with 100 strikeouts, a 6-3 record and a 6.81 ERA… Named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll three times.

2024: Made nine appearances with one start… Pitched 8.0 innings with a 9.00 ERA and nine strikeouts… Made season debut with 1.1 scoreless innings against Towson (2/16) with no hits and two strikeouts… Struck out one in two-thirds of an inning with no runs against Kennesaw State (2/21) … Pitched a scoreless frame with a punchout against Lafayette (3/10) … Pitched a scoreless inning against Presbyterian (4/16) with no hits and one strikeout… Started at Presbyterian (5/7) and pitched one inning with just one hit and one run allowed… Named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.

2023: Made 14 appearances, all in relief… Posted a 2-0 record with an 8.22 ERA over 15.1 innings and 19 strikeouts… Pitched a scoreless inning in season debut against Southern Illinois (2/17) with a strikeout… Earned the win against Kent State (2/24) with 1.1 scoreless innings and a punchout… Tossed a scoreless inning against Presbyterian (4/11), striking out a pair… Had back-to-back scoreless outings with an inning each against Samford (4/23) and at UNC Asheville (4/25), striking out two in both… Struck out three batter at Georgia State (5/9) over 2.0 shutout innings en route to the victory… Hurled 3.0 innings of one-run ball in the first game of the SoCon Championship against Samford (5/27) with two strikeouts... Named to Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

2022: Made 18 appearances with 15 starts… Posted a 7.56 ERA with a 1-2 record and 42 strikeouts over 50.0 innings… Made first start against George Mason (2/20) with five strikeouts over 3.0 innings… Earned the win as the starter against Penn (3/4), tossing 4.0 innings with just one run allowed and five punchouts… Did not allow an earned run over 4.0 innings as the starter against Lafayette (3/14) with a pair of strikeouts… Struck out six over 4.1 innings in the start against Gardner-Webb (3/27) with only one earned run allowed… Surrendered just one run at Tarleton (4/5) as the starter with four strikeouts in 3.0 innings… Struck out five over 3.1 innings as the starter in game two of the doubleheader against The Citadel (5/8) … Named to Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

2021: Made 20 appearances with six starts ... Posted a 4.78 ERA with a 3-1 record ... Had 30 strikeouts in 37.2 innings ... Against Gardner-Webb (2/21) had four strikeouts in 3.0 innings as part of a combined shutout win ... Earned the win against Xavier (2/27) by not allowing a run in 2.0 innings ... Started at UNC Asheville (3/2) and had two strikeouts in 2.0 innings ... In start against Toledo (3/13) allowed one run in 4.2 innings with three strikeouts to secure the win ... Started at The Citadel (3/19) and went 3.1 innings with a strikeout ... At Winthrop (5/5) went 3.0 innings in the start with one run allowed ... Started against Mercer (5/21) and had six strikeouts in 6.0 innings to earn the win ... In the Southern Conference Tournament started against Western Carolina (5/29) and had one strikeout .

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year letterman at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School, winning a pair of region championships and reaching the state semifinals ... Was 3-0 with a 0.41 ERA and 19 strikeouts during senior season ... In 2019 posted a 2.47 ERA with 25 strikeouts in 22.2 innings ... Also played for the East Cobb Astros and had 54 strikeouts in 54 innings ... Named preseason All-State in football as an offensive lineman, with the team winning state championships in 2017 and 2018 ... Member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Birthday is March 21 ... Son of Frank and Marypat Marcoccio... Both parents were student-athletes at William and Mary, with father playing football and mother playing soccer... Majoring in finance.
