HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterman at Hebron Christian Academy ... As a senior, team was 30-8 overall and reached the state finals ... Posted an 11-2 record on the mound with 84 strikeouts and a 2.97 ERA ... Named first team All-State, second team All-Gwinnett county and was selected to play in the Gwinnett County All-Star game ...  During his junior season, the team won a region championship and advanced to the state finals ... He was 5-2 with 55 strikeouts and a 2.51 ERA in 43.2 innings pitched, earning first team All-Region and third team All-Gwinnett County honors ... As a sophomore, he was 5-2 on the mound and had 23 strikeouts in 28.2 innings with a 3.91 ERA ... Also lettered in football as a sophomore.
