HIGH SCHOOL: With IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, hit .493 while going a perfect 20-for-20 on stolen bases… He was named the 2019-20 pitcher MVP before winning a gold glove the following season and the Hitter MVP the year after that.
 
PERSONAL: Father is Koji Uehara, former MLB pitcher with over 20 years of professional baseball experience between Japan and the US.
