Member of the 2024 Southern Conference Tournament championship team that earned the program’s first-ever NCAA Tournament win in the Chapel Hill Regional.

2025: Made 17 appearances with four starts… Posted a 5-3 record with a 4.91 ERA over 55.0 innings with 48 strikeouts and one save… Pitched 2.1 scoreless and hitless innings out of the bullpen against Ohio (2/14) in game one of the doubleheader with three strikeouts… Tossed 3.0 scoreless innings against Army West Point (2/22), allowing just one hit to earn the win while striking out three… Earned the win against Le Moyne (3/2) with 3.0 innings out of the bullpen, striking out five… Pitched 2.1 innings at the College of Charleston (3/11), allowing just one run… Hurled 4.0 shutout frames against Elon (3/16) with just one hit allowed and four strikeouts to notch the win… Made first start of the season against Samford (4/6), pitching 3.1 innings… Started at UNCG (4/13) and pitched 5.0 strong frames with just a run allowed and six punchouts… Struck out five in 4.1 relief innings at High Point (4/27) in the first game of a doubleheader… Earned the save against Mercer (5/2) after hurling the final 4.0 innings with just two earned runs allowed and three strikeouts… Pitched first complete game of career against The Citadel (5/22) in the SoCon Tournament, striking out five for the win.

2024: Made 18 appearances with one start… Posted a 3-2 record with two saves and a 4.78 ERA… Struck out 58 batters in 49.0 innings pitched… Named to the SoCon All-Freshman Team… Debuted with 2.0 scoreless and hitless innings against Fordham (3/2) in game two of a doubleheader, striking out a pair… Against Lafayette (3/9), tossed 2.1 innings with no hits or runs while striking out three… Struck out three in 2.1 innings at Charleston (3/17) with no runs or hits… Tossed 2.0 scoreless innings with a pair of punchouts against The Citadel (3/24) … Struck out six batters at VMI (3/30) over 3.0 innings… Started at Elon (4/3) and tossed a scoreless inning with two strikeouts… Earned first win after 3.0 relief innings against UNCG (4/7) with five punchouts… Pitched 7.0 relief innings at FIU (4/12), carrying the Terriers into extras and earning the win without allowing a run and a career-best seven strikeouts… Earned win after 2.0 innings of one-run ball at Mercer (4/19) … Pitched a scoreless frame with a punchout at UNC Asheville (4/23) … Struck out six over 4.2 innings against Western Carolina (4/28) … Against ETSU (5/12), tossed 6.2 innings and struck out a new career-high eight batters… Secured first save with 3.2 scoreless innings against No. 1 seed UNCG (5/24) in the SoCon Tournament with six strikeouts… In the first game of the SoCon Championship against Samford (5/26), earned another save with two strikeouts over the final 2.0 innings… Against LSU (5/31) in the Chapel Hill Regional, tossed 2.0 innings of one-run ball with two strikeouts.

HIGH SCHOOL: The southpaw helped guide his Hayfield Secondary squad to a district championship in 2022 as they finished 19-3 on the season... Has also played first base in high school.

PERSONAL: Birthday is September 12... Son of Kenneth and Joelle Michaels... Undecided on a major.
