HIGH SCHOOL: As a junior, Weaver set the school record for most strikeouts in a season at Homestead High School … That effort helped his squad win both the sectional and regional titles ... Touted a 10-1 record with a 0.84 ERA in over 74 innings with 111 punchouts ... Hurled five complete games with a pair of no-hitters while holding the opposing bats to just a .143 average.
 
PERSONAL: Birthday is October 27 … Parents are Brett and Susan Weaver … Father played baseball at Saint Joseph’s College from 1993-97 … Mother played volleyball at Florida State from 1994-98 … Majoring in economics and government.
